The idea is based on my experience working in a toxic work environment that was physically, mentally and emotionally draining. The day I finally made the choice to move was an illuminating moment, I always wondered why it took me so long to make the move. But sometimes, when you spend a long time in a horrible environment, you get used to it and you start to think it's the norm.
Making the choice to walk away was the best decision I have ever made.
